What do you think makes you a good coach?
I excel at connecting with my students, making learning enjoyable, meaningful, and impactful. My strong understanding of chess and patient approach allow me to guide players effectively, while my ability to motivate and appreciate their ideas helps build their confidence and enthusiasm. I strive to create an engaging learning environment where students feel supported and inspired to improve.
I love chess because of its uniqueness and beauty—every game unfolds differently, creating endless possibilities and allowing for creative thinking.
Chess is also a universal language, bringing people together across cultures and generations, making it easy to gain friends and share experiences. Most of all, chess is a fun and engaging challenge that sharpens the mind while fostering personal growth and enjoyment.
I first learned to play chess in high school, and I was immediately fascinated by the depth and strategy of the game.
My father was my first opponent, and I still cherish the unforgettable moment when he taught me the basics and challenged me to our first game. That experience sparked my passion for chess and created a special bond between us.
I enjoy working with kids because I have a deep passion for sharing my knowledge of chess. Seeing them genuinely enjoy playing while developing new skills and strategies is incredibly rewarding.
Watching their progress, confidence, and understanding of the game grow adds meaning to what I do. Teaching kids is not just about chess skills—it’s about creating valuable connections and positive experiences that will stay with them for life.
