What makes you a good coach?
I have a natural ability to connect with kids, making learning both fun and engaging. My coaching approach focuses on building confidence alongside chess skills, ensuring that every student not only improves at the game but also gains a sense of accomplishment. I create an encouraging environment where mistakes are learning opportunities, and every move is a step toward growth.

Key Strengths:

  • Building strong connections – I understand how to engage and motivate young learners.
  • Simplifying complex ideas – I break down chess concepts into easy-to-understand steps.
  • Creating an encouraging learning environment – I foster patience, confidence, and enjoyment in every lesson.

Why do you love chess?
I love the intensity of the game—each match is a one-on-one battle where strategy, patience, and decision-making play a crucial role. Chess challenges the mind, and every move counts, making it both a thrilling and deeply rewarding experience.

How and when did you first learn to play?
My dad taught me when I was five years old, and from the very first game, I was hooked. Chess quickly became a lifelong passion, shaping the way I think and approach challenges, both on and off the board.

Why do you enjoy working with kids?
Kids are naturally curious and eager to learn, which makes coaching them incredibly rewarding. Watching their confidence grow as they master new strategies is one of the best parts of my job. I take pride in creating a space where they feel supported, challenged, and excited to improve.
