All entries MUST be entered at least three working days before the event.
NOTE: Some venues have maximum capacities. The sooner you enter, the better your chances are of not missing out.

Entry Fees

We offer special prices for the host school and the rookies division. For the junior, intermediate and senior divisions, pricing is based on the schools EQI band.

We will invoice you after tournament completion based on the number of students that attend. Please do not bring payment on the day. All fees inclusive of GST.

Note that the Rookies division is only open to junior players (years 1-6) that are completely new to chess and have never played in a chess tournament before. The Rookies division is not eligible for qualification to Nationals.

Designed for new players and experienced alike.
All the rules are described before the tournament starts. Please make sure to read the Regionals FAQs.
There is a limit of 8 players per school.
Each school must provide parents or teachers (minimum 1 per each 15 students) who are responsible for supervision of participants for the duration of the event. See the Terms & Conditions page for more information.
Schools may play in any one, or multiple, zones. You are not restricted by location, however if you are playing in an out of zone event, your entries are limited to 8 players in total.
