What do you think makes you a good coach?
Listening skills, leadership and supporting students where needed. Someone who can provide an environment where students thrive and enjoy their time learning.

What are your key strengths?
My key strengths are Leadership, Pro-activity, Creativity, Problem-solving. I have experience teaching kids art and creative stimulus. My background within Filmmaking has strengthened my team management and leadership skills over the years including my problem-solving and handling when under pressure.

Why do you love Chess?
It is a thinker's game that stimulates the mind and challenges the individual. I have always respected chess and those who play, especially those who play well.

When/how did you first learn to play?
When young through family and friends, although never been the best, I still have much to learn!

Why do you enjoy working with kids?
It's rewarding to see your teaching make an impact on the youth, socializing and building trust within a class is a special thing.

What are your main Chess achievements?
My main chess achievement would be landing this job! My achievements in chess are few if not any, but my goal is to change that and improve more than I ever have.

How do you think Chess helps kids?
I believe Chess helps kids with cognitive thinking, problem-solving and strategising while supporting their socialising skills at the same time.
